Meet your dot
Dots are always-on agents that take on ongoing responsibility. Give your dot a goal and define what it can do on its own. It works across connected apps on its own computer, keeps making progress between conversations, and brings back results for your review. It reaches out when a decision needs your judgment. Dots are rolling out gradually to eligible accounts.
Work across devices
Start a new synced ChatGPT Work task on desktop and continue on web or mobile. An online, connected computer can run steps that need its local files and tools. Existing tasks keep their original mode.

Bring files and Pages together. Draft and revise with ChatGPT, edit your work directly, and invite collaborators to view, comment, or edit.

Codex
Astra Ultrafast in Codex
Use GPT-6 Astra Ultrafast in Codex and ChatGPT Work on the Pro $500/month plan and eligible Enterprise and Edu plans. Enterprise owners control access; workspaces requiring inference residency outside the US aren’t eligible.
Reusable cloud environments
Describe your development setup, let Codex prepare and test it, then publish the environment. New tasks start in isolated workspaces using the prepared filesystem. Continue cloud tasks from web, mobile, or desktop while your computer sleeps.
Codex Security Cloud
Scan connected GitHub repositories or monitor new commits with the Security Cloud plugin, available in research preview. Review findings, validation evidence, and patches before creating a draft pull request.
Sites & plugins
Sign in with ChatGPT
Let users sign in with ChatGPT and, for eligible Plus and Pro users, use their ChatGPT plan for AI requests in your app. Commercial sign-in is in a limited trial with selected partners. ChatGPT plan usage is available to open-source partners and selected private clients.
Sites with connected data
Build a Site that uses each visitor’s own connected apps. Plugins in Sites are available for workspace-private Sites where enabled; visitors choose their accounts and consent to access.
Plugin Extensions
Add sidebar apps, conversation panels, file viewers and editors, and forms to ChatGPT. Composer mentions are available only in the desktop app. Free and Go web extensions are coming soon. Package the interface alongside your plugin’s tools and skills.
MCP Events
Let users ask ChatGPT to monitor updates from your MCP server and act when matching events arrive. ChatGPT requires MCP 2.0 and supports webhook delivery from the draft MCP Events specification.
Website annotations
Choose what people can select, attach useful context, and add controls to preview changes before sending feedback to ChatGPT. The Browser Annotation API works in supported desktop app browsers.
API
GPT-6.1 Sol
GPT-6.1 Sol offers near-Astra performance at a lower cost for complex coding and professional work. Use it in the API and Codex, where available. It supports Multi-agent beta in Responses and EU data residency with Standard, Flex, and Batch processing.
Astra Ultrafast in the API
Reduce the time between generated output tokens with GPT-6 Astra Ultrafast in the Responses API. Availability is subject to rate limits, with global processing and US data residency.

ChatGPT in Slack and Teams
Bring ChatGPT into approved conversations with your deployment’s connected tools. Configure who can use each deployment and which channels it can access.
Team Tasks
Run scheduled or event-triggered work through a team’s service account and approved connections.
Workspace connections
Connect company-managed accounts for supported teams and workflows. Each connection uses the connected account’s permissions.
Agent Security
Control which tools agents can use and how they access files and the network. Set workspace policies for local and Codex Cloud execution; Work Cloud has separate controls.
