ChatGPT Space brings your pages, files, and shared work into one place. Write and edit alongside ChatGPT, then invite other people to work with you.
Workspaces and spaces
Your ChatGPT workspace is the personal or organization environment you’re signed in to. It determines your membership, settings, and available apps. Space holds the work you can access in that environment.
Within Space, a space groups pages around a topic or team, such as a design studio or a research project. Share the space to give collaborators access to its pages. You can also create a page on its own.
Pages and other content
A page is a document you and ChatGPT can edit together. It can hold notes, a plan, or a team handbook, with child pages for related work. You can write directly, ask ChatGPT for revisions, and leave comments for collaborators.
Space also brings together:
- Spreadsheets and presentations: Create and edit tables, calculations, and slides with ChatGPT.
- Sites: Websites and tools you build with ChatGPT.
- Images and files: Uploaded files and saved work you can open and reuse.
Connect your sources
Connected apps, such as Google Drive, let ChatGPT use files you already have access to. Add source links or files to a page, then ask ChatGPT to turn that context into a summary, comparison, or update. Available sources depend on your connected apps and workspace settings.
Linked files keep their original permissions. Content you copy or summarize onto a page is visible to people who can access that page. Sharing a page doesn’t share your private chats or saved memory.
